So I feel bad saying this and I still love books…

Cloud Atlas (the movie) was better than Cloud Atlas(the novel).

 Who thinks otherwise?

P.S. Think of it this way. Books are still way ahead of pretty much all their adaptations, but… I fall asleep in the process of reading a book much more often than I do in the process of watching a movie…Just saying.

I’ve witnessed first hand the power of ideas, I’ve seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them… but you cannot kiss an idea, cannot touch it, or hold it… ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love… And it is not an idea that I miss, it is a man.
